• Info: Also known as clamshells and beadtips. High quality silver plating, with loop at top. These calottes open at the base. For use with flexible jewellery wire, such as Beadalon, with a hard crimp inside the calotte to secure the wire. Alternatively, these are also used with beading thread, such as Fireline, where a bead is inserted into the calotte and knotted (sometimes glued) to keep it from slipping.
